Eligibility
To become a professional drone pilot:
- Minimum of 16 years old
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English
- Exhibit physical and mental condition to safely fly a drone
- Pass initial aeronautical knowledge exam
To Obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate:
- Must be easily accessible by the remote pilot during all UAS operations
- Valid for 2 years. Certificate holders must pass a recurrent knowledge test every two years
